About Us

The Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach has been enriching the lives of young people for 58 years and remains in the forefront of youth development for our community.  

Everyday about 300 children from Laguna Beach, Aliso Viejo, and surrounding communities get to play, learn, and grow at our two Clubhouses (TLC Branch at Bluebird Park and Main Branch on Laguna Canyon Road).

Tested and proven, our nationally recognized and innovative site specific programs address today’s most pressing child and youth issues and teach young people the skills they need to succeed in life.

Our core programs are based on: Character & Leadership, to help youth become responsible caring citizens and develop leadership skills; Education, Technology & Career, to help children succeed in school and increase their self-confidence; Health & Life Skills to promote healthy, active lifestyles and increase self-esteem; The Arts to enhance self-expression, self-value, and creativity; and Sports, Fitness & Recreation to provide socially sound experiences designed to keep children healthy, active, and thinking while having fun.

Our Boys & Girls Club is intent on making sure that we remain relevant and that we continue to meet the specific needs of our community.

Everyday we talk to our families. We know every single child that comes to our Club and we know what makes that child special. We know it’s our job to help young people realize that they have valuable contributions to make to society, that everyone has a special gift, and there is great joy from sharing that gift with the world in a positive way.  By mentoring children at the Club, they gain self-worth and self-motivation.

The Boys & Girls Club’s ability to make a difference in children’s lives and futures is really a direct reflection of the people who make up our organization and our community’s commitment to building a brighter future by investing in today’s youth.
