COMING UP
The Education and Technology room is looking forward to a very exciting, educational, and fun-filled year. Each day children will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities and clubs.
The Torch Club is a chartered small-group leadership and service club for boys and girls between the ages of 11 and 13. Torch Club members will have the opportunity to elect officers, and work together to implement club and community wide activities and service in the areas of education, health and fitness, and social recreation. The Torch Club will meet on Mondays at 5:00pm. READ MORE
Now that the school year has begun, it is time for us to kick off our wonderful fall programs! Beginning this Monday, October 3rd, members will have the opportunity to participate in a number of different programs: Garden & Cooking Club, Torch Club, Club Zoom, Photography Club, Healthy Habits, Beyond the Box, Smart Moves, and Theater. Children stretch their imaginations as they learn the art of composition and develop an artistic eye while taking digital photos. Beautiful Laguna Beach is their backdrop when kids take weekly field-trips around our towns beaches, parks, and trails. Classes focus on creativity and encourage individuality. Members also get a chance to manipulate their cameras and learn about alternative processes. The new Fall Photography Club will begin on October 19th from 3:30-5:00 every Wednesday through December. This program is geared towards members 7 1/2 years old and up. Space is limited, so sign up early! READ MORE

Signups are now available for Beyond the Box, a new, creative program that exposes members to music, dance, film, photography, and technology. Members utilize digital arts to make their own creative projects, which may be submitted to the National Digital Arts Festival through Boys & Girls Club of America. Beyond the Box takes place every Tuesday from October 4th – December 13th. This club is available to all members age 9-13. Signup now, space is limited! READ MORE
