Check out these original videos created in Beyond the Box! After months of hard work, our club members in Beyond the Box, a new digital arts program created by Program Director Jasa Laliberte and Art Director Emily Murray, have finished making their very own videos! In October, members 9 to 12 years old were placed into teams and given two projects. The first project was a commercial to promote Club Tech and the second was a creative stop motion video. The teams learned how to create their own movies from beginning to end, including drawing story boards, writing scripts, acting, directing, and editing. Four groups have just submitted their videos to the Boys & Girls Club of America’s Digital Arts Festival to compete against members all over the country. Although Beyond the Box is wrapping up, film has now been added to the Photography Club curriculum, allowing members to continue exploring and developing skills in digital arts.Learn more about the Digital Arts Festival READ MORE
