Last Thursday, Garden Club members planted all new fruits and vegetables. The garden now holds tomatoes, corn, watermelon, zucchini, green beans, bell peppers, and many others. When the time comes to harvest, all club members will have the opportunity to eat the organic food that they grew themselves. READ MORE

This past week children at the club got a chance to learn first hand about the adaptations necessary for animals to survive in the harsh Intertidal Zone of the ocean. Students got to interact with sea stars, urchins, hermit crabs, and many other local residents of California’s tidepools in this hands-on exciting experience through the Ocean Institute’s visiting classroom. His work in the Monochromatic Drawing category is 1 of 36 pieces selected from hundreds across the region.
