His work in the Monochromatic Drawing category is 1 of 36 pieces selected from hundreds across the region. SMART GIRLS love to dance! On Tuesday, the teens in the the Smart Girls program participated in a special dance class. They did Zumba and jazz, and most importantly, learned how to properly stretch. The girls learned several stretches and the benefits that it can have on your health. The girls had a blast coming up with their own dance routine and tearing up the dance floor! Smart Girls is a program where young women are encouraged and empowered to be themselves and develop stronger skills in decision making. They meet every Tuesday from 4-5 pm. READ MORE

Many Club members involved in Beyond the Box Club have been working over the past few months to create submissions for the Photo Tech and Music Making sections of Boys & Girls Club of Americas National Digital Arts Festival. Our local Photo Tech winners are: Christiana Darby, Alec Fritchmann, Katherine Outhwaite, & Abigail Webb. Our Music Making winner is Anastasia Giourgas. Members had fun last week starting to create their stop-motion animations for the movie-tech category, which will take place in February.
