Attention Teens! Don’t veg out in front of the T.V. or computer all summer long! The Laguna Beach Teen Center offers a variety of exciting activities and outings that both local and visiting teens can enjoy! It’s a great place to meet new friends from not only Laguna Beach and the surrounding communities, but even all over the state and country! Beef up your real life social network, not just your Facebook friends!
Activities includes amazing field trips like shopping at Venice Beach, The US Open for Surfing, the opening of the 2010 X-Games, The OC Fair, Wild Rivers, Howie’s, Movies and Knott’s Berry Farm. You could also join Adventure Club and go kayaking, hiking, fly on a zip line and even take a balloon ride. Sometimes we just hop on the Trolley and just lounge around Laguna and people watch at art galleries and cafes. Best of all, we relax at the beach, or pool.
Into sports? Sign up for the traveling sports league where we visit different cities and challenge the local teens to fun, yet competitive sports including soccer, basketball, dodge ball, and volleyball. For the end of the summer, teens are encouraged to join the third annual and award winning Catalina Camping trip, where life long friends and memories are made.
The Club is also a great place to start or complete your community service for high school, or to add an extra edge for you college or job applications. The staff can also help if you’re struggling in summer school or want to get a head start for next school year.
