Help Kids Create Healthy Habits
Triple Play takes a holistic approach to health and wellness in three key areas:
Mind: Helps Club members develop a knowledge base to acquire healthy habits, such as making smart food choices, understanding appropriate portion sizes and creating fun and balanced meals.
Body: Encourages young people to be physically active through fun daily fitness, including games and activities to get them moving. Daily fitness challenges give youth of every age a chance to play longer and harder at a variety of games.
Soul: Provides social recreation programs and activities that strengthen interpersonal skills, foster good character and develop positive relationships and cooperation among young people. Club youth acquire a healthy self-concept and belief in their self-worth, and cope well with positive and adverse situations.
ALL STARS Flag Football
All Stars is an organized sport and fitness program for flag football. Aims to increase opportunities for physical activity, social interaction and recognition through organized sports programming for youth.
Jr. RBI teaches the fundamentals of baseball to children. Jr. RBI is part of BGCA’s and Major League Baseball program. Its mission is to re-introduce, revive and rebuild interest and participation in youth baseball and softball. The Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach RBI baseball team competes against other Boys & Girls Clubs and youth organizations in south Orange County

The First Tee DRIVE is the perfect activity for kids because it Develops Rewarding, Inspiring Values for Everyone
Specificaly designed for youth-serving organizations , like the Boys & Girls Clubs. The First Tee DRIVE gives kids the chance to learn about golf and develop character through fun and safe golf games
Jr NBA / WNBA Basketball
Winter (Boys) / Spring (Girls)
The Jr. NBA/WNBA is the official youth basketball participation program of the NBA/WNBA. The Jr. NBA/WNBA is a membership-based program for existing youth basketball leagues/organizations. The membership is to help encourage and support youth basketball participation at the grassroots level and improve the overall youth basketball experience for all participants. The Jr. NBA /WNBA aims to develop a lifelong passion for the game of basketball in boys and girls ages 6-15 by teaching them the fundamentals of the sport while instilling core values including teamwork, respect and sportsmanship.
The SKATE CLUB
Age 8- up
Come and skate every Friday after school.
Skate ramps will be out on the playground.
Bring your skateboards, scooters, and hover boards
Helmets and pads required to participate
Time: 4:00 - 6:00 pm
Played in a smaller space with a special ball that resembles a giant tennis ball, this up-tempo version of the world’s most popular game is a variation of futsal, a South American sport. Do not be fooled into thinking that a smaller playing surface translates into a less physically demanding game, as many experienced fútballers feel that indoor soccer is more tiring than outdoor soccer.
