This past week children at the club got a chance to learn first hand about the adaptations necessary for animals to survive in the harsh Intertidal Zone of the ocean. Students got to interact with sea stars, urchins, hermit crabs, and many other local residents of California’s tidepools in this hands-on exciting experience through the Ocean Institute’s visiting classroom.
