Power Hour: A national homework assistance and tutoring program that offers academic support in completing daily assignments, class projects and test preparation.
Smart Moves: A national prevention/education program that encourages responsible behavior through strengthening decision making skills.
Triple Play: A national program that incorporates Mind, Body and Soul to help our kids make healthy choices. The Mind component (Healthy Habits) focuses on nutrition education, The Body component (Daily Challenge) provides fitness and physical activity while The Soul component is social interaction which members get from being a part of the club.
Torch Club: Torch Club members learn to elect officers and work together to implement activities through service to Club and community. Designed to address the special needs of pre-adolescent character development.
Image Makers (Digital Arts): This year-round program encourages Club members to learn and practice black-and-white, color, digital and alternative process photography. An annual photography contest provides local, regional and national recognition.
Fine Arts: Each week, members learn a new art practice manipulating various mediums like; pastels, acrylic paint, pencils and sculpting clay to name a few. This program is designed to foster an individual appreciation for the child’s “own” artistic ability.
Dragonfly Quest: This fun and interactive program helps the children pursue their inquisitiveness through experimentation and hands-on learning while practicing scientific principles.
Garden Club: This eco-friendly program will teach the children about gardening. Includes planting vegetable and herb seeds, learned appreciation for organic material & sustainability and will take various field trips to local gardens.
Music Club: Participants in this program will enjoy the introduction, appreciation and creation of musical arts. They will enjoy exposure to various musical genres while working on their own songs through collaboration and solo projects.
