A program designed to help teens explore options to prepare and apply for college. Information on the scholarship and application process, as well as SAT assistance and readiness, is provided. The program includes field trips to local colleges and universities.
Career Launch prepares teens for the world of careers and work. Members embark on a journey to explore possible vocations, make sound educational decisions nad find success in the world of work.
Power Hour: Making Minutes Count
This program helps Club members achieve academic success by providing homework support, tutoring and technology engaged activities. By encouraging members to develop a daily habit of completing homework and studying, in a dedicated space with adult support, members make a commitment to school and learning.
Be Eco-Smart/Garden Club
Members learn the importance of gardening and growing one’s own food, recycling, composting, reducing waste, and keeping our environment clean through hands-on projects and field trips.
Summer Brain Gain
Summer Brain Gain is comprised of one-week modules with fun, themed activities for elementary school, middle school and high school students that are aligned with common core anchor standards.
STEM is a hinds-on, activity-based STEM curriculum which connects youth to science themes they encounter regularly.
